Effective immediately, you are permitted to carry ONE item in your bunker pants pockets. That is NOT one item in each pocket; that is one item PERIOD. This policy has become necessary because many of you can barely move, due to the weight of what is being carried in pockets. If you are caught violating this policy, I will confiscate everything and open a hardware store. Chief.
So; the question is: what would be your ONE thing? One. That's it.
TCSS.

OK; you can have a rope bag. Our firefighters snap them to an eyelet on their coats.
But if you don't want to carry them on the outside, you can carry them in a pocket.
Now; you get ONE other item. ONE. A knife, combination tool, collapsible spanner, spring loaded punch, whatever.
One is it.
Please continue.
I'm not opposed to firefighters carrying potentially life saving equipment, but when it gets to the point that, when they fall down, they look like a turtle that's on its back, then you're carrying too much stuff. I swear people would carry Denver tools in their pockets if they could figure out a way.
Sorry.
Carry on.

Well I would have to go with "Oldman" on this one the crescent rescue tool would be in my pocket...I already have a rope bag on my airpack belt (all of ours have them with 50 feet of life rated rope).....Paul
