I'm trying to track down an old pumper that was sold around 2000: 1980 Mack CF, red/white, with standard cab w/ open jumpseats. It was purchased new by the Elverson (Pa.) Fire Department.
Any leads would be most appreciated. I would love to find some more photos of this truck, as I'm building a model of it and I need details.
Thanks in advance.

I know there are organizations that keep track of antique or retired fire apparatus. I have talked to them at Firehouse Expo in Baltimore, MD about tring to find a unit my fire company had back in the late 60s to the early 70s.
They sold it because it didn't meet the dept's needs plus they needed the money to build a sub station and apparatus for it.
It was a one of a kind brush/rescue unit. 1967 open cab Ford 4x4 with bench seating where the hose bed would be painted white over black.
It went to a the Plymouth Township VFD PA before they sold it to the Ambrose FD in GA. I have lost track of it after that.
A member of our dept had planned to buy it and bring it back and make a parade unit out it but he died before he could.
There are more units I could ask about that our dept has owned, sold or decommissioned or junked since 1951 but that one was a one of a kind.
Hi joe
I was wondering what you use to build your models? I have been tossing around the idea too, but not sure what kits are available, or materials.
just wondering. Thanks.. good luck on the project. I look forward to seeing the finished product if possible.
