we used the deck gun on one... that cat got some distance.
My fav quote and dont know who said it first " There aint a horse that cant be rode, nor a cowboy that cant be throwed." and this one from Memphis Belle " SNAFU " Situation normal all beeped up.

my personal favorite is colonel jessup's courtroom speech in a few good men. its not a fire quote but it is accurate about service... the last lines in report from engine co 82...from backdraft, the "no iff's" speech...Heres one of my own, "In what other business can someone pick up a phone dial 3 numbers and get a bunch of men and women to go to where they are needed on a vehicle that costs up to half a million dollars and to their deaths if necessary for people they dont even know"
