Firefighter Layoffs

I am against people who lay off firefighters because towns and cities need lots of firefighters to put out the many fires that need to be put out. So how do all of you feel about the firefighter layoffs reciently?

the first thing to come to my mind is it will put stress on the other FF that arent being laid off....they will have more area to cover and plus if you have someone having an MI they may end up worse because of the fact that the response times will be longer
