Well it's that time of year when we are on the hunt for Fieldus Ignitus, the field mouse with matches, he is a hard animal to trap, and can show up in any field or woodland. He carries a supply of matches with him, and uses them at random to bring the funny men in the red trucks, and the big tractors w/ plows on them, running. Scientist have attempted to study this creature, but due to his elusive nature and seemingly unlimited range, they have no subjects for study. No one knows why he lights fires, some say it is to keep warm on those windy spring days, others say it's for the simple joy of watching the funny men, run around and try to stop his handy work, but whatever the reason, always be on the look out for him. He is responsible for the fires that seemingly have no cause and the witnesses say " it just started, I don't know why." So when you have unexplained brush fires, and the " witness" has no explination for the fire, remember to look for signs of Fieldus Ignitus. He has a brother Structure Ignitus, but that will be discussed at a later date.
