Is there or has there ever been a FD theme restaurant in your area? I can remember in Ocean City, MD a fire dept  theme grill and bar which had the back end of a ambulance for the front door, firefighter video game, anything related to the fire service through out the place. They even had patches from different fire depts around the state and other places.  The next year when I went back the place was gone and a parking lot took its place.

One major fast food franchise thats moving around the country is Firehouse Subs. I have found one of the stores in Fairfax County, VA near a movie theater. I looked inside and the place has the FD items on the wall and the company was started by firefighters.

This company is looking for franchises in more areas of the country.

The Halligan Bar and Grill in Richmond Va is located right off I 95 if you are heading north or south through Virginia. Owned by a firefighter, it has a drivers side cutaway fire truck as part of the bar area, All the menu items are fire themed named like the Federal Q which is a thinly sliced pork loin sandwich with Jack Cheese and their own BBQ sauce. Have beside the fire truck body, hundreds of patches, helmets, fire pictures, tools and equipment to look at while eating. They have a web site with special events they host like the Burning Up The Bottom in June. They are located at 3 N 17th Street and the web site is http://thehalliganbar.com/ and they have a Facebook page as well to keep you up to date on meal specials, drink specials and events.
if no one has added this - Firehouse subs is out of Jacksonville, Florida and founded by firefighters. See thier website under firehousesubs.com. They are a franchise but have not forgotten their FD roots. They put pics of various firefighters who have been recognized for bravery, etc. on thier drink cups.
It's still there. had lunch there today. It's Callis Firehouse Bar and Grill.
there is a few around here, but nothing good, they just have a few pics up and maybe a hose here and helmet there..not much..tho
It's Calli Baker's Firehouse Bar and Grille on Business Highway 17.
Well Im not sure of a restaurant, but we do have a bar that is owned by a firefighter, and has a lot of fire dept items on the walls. I my self have thought about a themed restaurant, my wife and I have wanted to open our own restaurant, but the red tape to open one has been a pain in the arse.

A little disappointing if your looking for a FD theme. But it is a half mile from the Pacific Ocean and next door to SDFD Sta. 21.
theres one in byron, il too...its called the 5th alarm...it used to be the old fire house back in the day! its awesome! the fire pole is still in there!
There used to be a restaurant in either Florence or Newport Oregon in old town that had fire dept. patches and T shirts hanging on the walls. There also was a firehouse pizza in Salem Oregon on Hawthorne Ave. and Market st.
Lafayette Fire Company No 1, 1801 Park Ave. St. Louis, MO 63104 (314) 621-5001. www.lafayettefirecompany.com good good food. relics all over the walls lights made out of helmets. the place is amazing
I know on the Eastern Shore of Maryland they opened another restaurant but unsure where it is. I figure some of the Maryland firefighters would sound off about restaurants around the state. I figure one would be around Baltimore?
I have seen that Firehouse Subs has a list of states they haven't opened in yet because no one has asked the company about franchise. I understand the company will help anyone interested in opening one of their restaurants.
