Halligan Bar.
I've:
Forced doors
Vented roofs
Breeched walls/staircases from the inside
Taken windows/skylights
Pulled electrical meters before that became a no-no
etc.
all wit a Halligan

I'll go with the irons, but being as lazy as I am, I've gotta tell ya that I almost always ended up using the Rabbit tool.
Can I threadjack here? In addition to your favourite tool, what does the entry guy carry on your rig? When I ran bar, the standard kit was:
flathead axe
halligan bar
torch (flashlight)
Forceable entry bag containing:
no-bounce maul
rabbit tool
K-tool & keys
door chocks
This position was #3 on the truck, and #4 on the engine.

I like the good old "Try before you Pry" adage myself, but when it comes down to getting inside the "IRONS" really are great ! A well trained firefighter with a Flat Axe and Halligan can get into almost anything.
