I like this department because I can go into the forums groups anything on this site really and see how other departments do things that maybe my company I can help do better or change. Hear about some tools other companies may use other than irons, hook and can (our bread and butter as a truck). Different ways we can conduct in house training. Mainly just to see how other companies do it so we can make the truck crew the best in county.

The main thing I enjoy is being able to network with other firefighters. I enjoy facebook a lot, but I enjoy this site as well because it's limited to mainly firefighters. If I have a training question or any kind of question about the fire service I post it on here and I get several responses.

I enjoy pissing my wife off by being on here all the time.


Other then tha it is a great place to learn how others do things and for networking.
