Lt Kelly from Ladder 26 passed away today from injuries sustained while returning from a call in the mission hill section of the city. Lt kelly was a 30 year memeber of the dept. Rip Lt Kelly!
We here in South Pend Oreille Fire/Rescue wishes to send their sympathy to Lt. Kelley's family both personal and proffessional. May those effected find peace soon. Also may those family members on board heal quickly physically and emotionally.
Captain Alex Arnold
South Pend Oreille Fire/Rescue
Station 31
Myself and the members of the Allison#2 V.F.D. would like to express our condolences to the family and friends and fellow firefighters. May he rest in peace.
I spent an hour watching the "Firehouse USA Boston" clips on Youtube last night. These feature the E37/L26 house in Boston.
These videos show Lt. Kevin "Two Times" Kelley in action on the job, and relaxing at home. They put a face with the name, which all too often doesn't happen with LODD notices. I was left with a deep sense of loss and sadness for his family and friends.
My condolences to his wife and family, and to Stevie, Dave and the rest of the BFD. Rest in peace, Luft.

I recorded the series (originally from the series) myself and my children have watched them many times, my first thought when the news coverage hit was, "oh damn, that was the same company from the show, stomach sank and felt as if I personally knew the guys. Lt Kelley was portrayed as a true professional during the series, the City of Boston and the world have lost a tremendous brother... and heaven has gained another great man.
God Bless and Godspeed.
Please keep the information forthcoming on the funeral arrangements, I will definately plan the trip out of respect to the fallen.
