Music Poll: Am I the only person in the Fire Service who listens to Hard Core Music
I am taking this poll to see if other people besides me and a fellow brother in my dept. listen to hard core or metal music. So let's hear it, and if not what type of music makes you feel ALIVE inside when you listen to it.

I liked the intro to the remixed Shout At The Devil.
I also love to crank up TNT, especially as it flows into Dr Feelgood!!!!!

Now I might put myself on the outer circle with these two, but I've gotta admit that I'm also a big fan of the Christian Metal bands Stryper and Barren Cross.
The lead singer from barren Cross sounds so much like Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden. I've actually played Barren Cross to a few people who thought it was Bruce!
I went and saw Stryper in concert years (and years) ago and absolutely loved it.
After the concert about 15 people went out to the back of the venue to try and catch a glimpse of the band as they exitted and Oz Fox (Guitarist) actually got out of the mini bus and stayed and chatted for about 45 minutes before he was picked up! It was awesome, he was so cool. He spoke about the music, travelling, obviously Christianity as well, but he didn't push it onto us....

I've got to say that I'm loving reading all these replies!
Forget al the LODD's and firefighter safety- it's all over rated (I'm only joking on that one!!!), let's all quit and meet in some park and play 80's music really loud and have a good time!!!!!

80'S MUSIC ROCKS!!! My wife wasnt really into that until she met me. There is a bar here in the area where I live called the 80's lounge that plays nothing but 80's music. They have this huge dance floor set up like something out of the 80's and they have these big screen TV's that play music videos all the stuff from early prince to def lepord night ranger, Twisted sister, ratt, Posion AND ALL THOSE

You might be surprised at what a guy my age listens to.
Went to a Rush concert Tuesday nite. They played a 3 hour concert.
Best show I've seen in years and I have seen alot of shows.
