Company Mottos

I've seen lots of Companies, Squads, and such that have sayings on their apparatus. Like FDNY has "Midtown Madness" for Ladder Co. 24/Engine Co. 1, or "Never Missed A Performance" on Engine 54 and "Pride of Midtown" on Ladder 4. What is your company/squad motto or what do you have written on your apparatus?

Our Department motto at inception in 1882 was "We Hold Thee Safe". I incorporated the words onto a redesign of our Dept. patch, which is proudly worn and affixed to all our apparatus.

Our Dept. has "Proudly Protecting the Community" Although they want us to come up with individual company mottos with a mascot, but so far no one has come up with any we can use.
the one I had thought up wasn't recieved very well and it was an eagle in an attack formation with an axe and fire hose in its talons and the saying "Flying High with 45" as of now there is no other progress for a company motto.

Each shift also has their own little gimmic, but until the new patches come out I'm not sure what they all are. =)

Hi Everyone, We don't have any motto's on the apparatus our chiefs always believed to spend the money wisely so we always did . We always wanted to get one made up but it never went through so we are thankfull to keep what we have the politicians makes 6 billion a year off of the firefighters but yet we are still praying that some day our dream could come true and become paid firefighters. The politicians have used us all these years but nothing ever changes.Still struggling. Hughie 57 House PA

My department calls themselves "the fighting 17" yeah I know it was stolen from Backdraft (It wasnt my idea). Its only because our county department number is 17 so all our trucks are like 1711, 1736, etc. you get the idea.

Also, Our big 4500 gallon tanker has "the whale" written on the back of it.

lhfd pa station 2 on our bay wall we have tower power(borrowed from fdny truck 14) our old tower was ex fdny truck 14 also on our wall we have tower 2 flying high above the rest. and we recently got shirts mad with the black sheep on them also written acrossed the top of the windshield on our new tower

jsfd station 45 is the dogpound local high school is the bulldogs and they have bulldogs on there trucks
