Why I Joined Fire/EMS: i talked my husband into becoming one because hey i would get to live out a fantasy every night and sleep with a firefighter. a couple of months later the dept. is sitting around the bonfire in my backyard joking around saying hey julie you should join too. haha yeah right two months later my husband calls me looking for ssn and my DL number and tells me i need to come up and sign my name on my application. that was four years ago and i have never regretted signing my name.
