About Me:
I use to be a CNA over 20 years ago. I've always had an interest in the medical field. I did complete my EMT-B course, but at the time of licensing my husband collasped and almost died. Its a real tough thing to do CPR on someone you love. I just never went back to get licensed. The way it is now, I can still assist with another EMT, I keep up my training, and the only difference here in this state between First Responders and EMT is the drugs. And the dept. can't carry any of them...

Do you remember the first time the tones went off, when you joined the station. I was right in the middle of a CEVO class. We all jumped to go to it. I remember the heart pounding feeling of my adrenaline rush. It was a Structure fire, Single wide 14 X 70 trailer. Old Aluminum type. There was this idiot living there with his girlfriend, he had been burning weeds around the edging, it had started to smolder before igniting and… Continue
