currently volunteering with a local department, getting on the job training as well as the state 150 hour training courses provided thru the state of KY fire commission fire rescue training. when my life settles down and is less hectic I want to take the 196 hour EMT course to get on the national registry and get my basic EMT card in KY as well as for Ohio.
About Me:
Paul 28 year old, just joined the department, grew up around it my whole life, my Dad was a volunteer firefighter and is an Intermediate EMT.
my "9-5 day job" is customer service in retail.
I am fairly laid back and chill.
a probie, but eager, always wanted to help people for a living, plan to enroll in EMT courses when things settle.
So I may give back to the community and help others in their time of need.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
the chance to save a life or to be there at a critical vulnerable time for someone and do your best to soothe and comfort them, to run into flames and a dangerous situation to put yourself in harms way so others may live and have a better day because you and your brother and sister Firefighters and emts/medics were there to keep it from getting worse,
