Mar Mac Volunteer Fire Department is Station # 15 among approx. 22 Volunteer fire/rescue stations. Mar Mac call district is approximately 16 square miles in the southwest portion of Wayne County, NC. This area is mostly rural farm area with individual homes, home subdivisions and light industry. Mar Mac Fire Dept. provides mutual aid to other (and attends training) with nearby volunteer fire units. Hey finally a neighbor I am from Johnston county NC and am on Blackman's Crossroads fire dept. right in the middle of Benson and Four Oaks but I know chris mcardle he was one of myh instructors in the fire academy
