Why I Joined Fire/EMS: I started out as a volunteer firefighter just south of Lubbock, Tx and then found out that Fort Worth was hiring, so I tried and luckily enough made it. I love every minute of it, I enjoy helping people on their worst days and the simple thrill of not really knowing what the day/shift will bring since everyday is something completely new and different.

Why I Love Fire/EMS: The Unknown of it all

Top Issues Facing Responders:: Right now, the biggest issue nation wide is simply the hope of being able to keep our jobs with the way the economy is and the way cities are cutting financing.
