About Me:: I am 35 yrs old and I have been a member of the FWFD since January of 2004. When I'm not working at the station I still drive semi's on my days off for a long-haul refrigerated company. I run local, delivering and picking up loads. I am married with two children, a son who's 8 and a daughter who's 9 weeks.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS: I started out as a volunteer firefighter just south of Lubbock, Tx and then found out that Fort Worth was hiring, so I tried and luckily enough made it. I love every minute of it, I enjoy helping people on their worst days and the simple thrill of not really knowing what the day/shift will bring since everyday is something completely new and different.

Top Issues Facing Responders:: Right now, the biggest issue nation wide is simply the hope of being able to keep our jobs with the way the economy is and the way cities are cutting financing.
