You were asking in disscussions but I will answer you here. First off I dont know how many career firefighters you know but I know that theres probably not any of them that have lights on there personal vehicals.
Experience is experience If you have been to 10 fires paid or 100 fires volunteer the scene experience is good. I will tell you one thing if you want a job start taking your paramedic thats the extra ladder that will get you over the rest. I think somthing like 17,000,000 EMT-Basics and only like 500,000 Paramedics
Hey Trey, I am Cody I am a Jr. Firefighter for Ordway Volunteer Fire Department. Ordway is in Colorado. I was wondering if you would add me as a friend. I would add you but I can't because my computer is messed up. Anyway Welcome to the Nation and I hope you like this website.
Trey, welcome to the Nation. I am glad you dropped in to join the group. Dont be shy just jump in anywhere and get your feet wet. There is lots to do, read and be involved with. Your participation and involvement is important to us all. Takes a bit to kinda figure it all out but you will be glad you did. Have fun and look around.
