Music Poll: Am I the only person in the Fire Service who listens to Hard Core Music

I am taking this poll to see if other people besides me and a fellow brother in my dept. listen to hard core or metal music. So let's hear it, and if not what type of music makes you feel ALIVE inside when you listen to it.

You and me both girl...lol.
And I would throw em' up there again even at 35 years old if ever the chance arose...heehee.
I had a little, just a little WILD in me. I think that I am making up for it now as an adult though. OK time to go get on their website and see if they are planning another tour any time soon. LOL!!!!
OMG...I was in dance class as a senior in high school and the team I was on, there were 4 of us, choreographed this dance to Excitable and wound up being told to tone it down. That was a great song, well heck still is. I just recenttly had Make Love Like A Man on my myspace page too...lol.
Sorry Paul to turn this into an 80's hair band thread...heehee. Please forgive me?
Heather - I think you still have a little "WILD" in you...just like me, I refuse to grow up!!

:o )
LOVED Motley Crue.....and I'll still blast it in the car while driving (Shout At The Devil) ...they're playing at Saratoga Performing Arts Center at the end of August....if I can bribe one of my reluctant friends to come with me (which means I'm going to have to buy an extra ticket) I'm going-
Also really like:
Nickleback
Foo Fighters
Nirvana
AC/DC
Van Halen
and then going back a little further:
Sweet
Mott the Hoople
Nazareth
Little Feat
T Rexx
As far as 80's bands the two I was really into were Aerosmith and KISS, I was in love with Steven Tyler.
Lets see, I like Rock:
Def Leppard
Motley Crue
Quiet Riot
Rat
Bon Jovi
Van Halen
and then there is Country which I like the old stuff and the new stuff. I grew up on Jazz and the Country.
I even like some classical. Rap is just awful....
OMG T Rexx...Bang A Gong was such a great song...I really liked the Power Stations remake of it too.

Now Van Halen, must say I was more of a Van Hagar fan myself.
My music taste are as varied as the people in this network. With the exception of Opera, (which sounds like 300 cats in a gang fight), and Rap, (which are people who don't have the talent of a dirt clod), I listen to pretty much anything from Alabama to ZZ Top, depending on my mood.

But when I'm concentrating on planning some throwed off training drill (like SCBA Basketball), nothing is better for my creative juices than Pink Floyd playing in the background.
The Ramones, Sex Pistols, Rammstein, Metallica, Pantera, The Offspring, Bad Religion, Body Count, this are my favorites but I would listen to anything.
