I am taking this poll to see if other people besides me and a fellow brother in my dept. listen to hard core or metal music. So let's hear it, and if not what type of music makes you feel ALIVE inside when you listen to it.
I listen to quite a bit of metal....everything from Metallica, Anthrax, Slayer, Megadeth......to Dimmu Borgir, The Berzerker, Cannibal Corpse, Devil Driver and everything in between. I also listen to country, classical, some top40, some hip-hop (mostly Canadian, like Buck 65 and Classified). I have a broad range of musical taste and it depends on what mood I am in as to what will amp me up.
I also listen to quite a bit of metal, Metallica, Anthrax, Slayer, Megadeth, Cannibal Corpse, Morbid Angel, Genitorers, Pantera...I thought I was the only one on here!!!!!!!!
IM DEFINATLY A HARD CORE METAL FAN,SCREW THIS POOR SOUNDING COUNTRY CRAP,I LOVE THE HAIR BAND ERA ALL THE WAY UP TO BLACK AND DEATH METAL,A LOT OF THE DEATH METAL BANDS YOU CANT UNDERSTAND THEM BUT THEY STILL ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FROM RATT TO POISON TO VENOM AND CRADLE OF FILTH BRING EM ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm an old guy, SO, I have already heard all the classic rock a bit too often. Therefore, I listen to more modern rock, Greenday, Nickleback, Foo Fighters, Tool, Blink 182, Alice in chains, Everclear, Godsmack... you get the idea.
I don't like much country at all (maybe a little modern stuff), or much of anything else for that matter.
Rap isn't music so I don't listen to much of that either. Note - if it was music they would sing, preferably to their own tunes, not talk fast to a tune they stole from someone else...hence not really music to me.
Dokken, wow now that's a major blast form the past. We are dating ourselves...lol. You know they are supposed to be coming back with a new CD and tour...hmmmm wonder if they can really rock out from their wheelchairs...heehee.
And I bet you love 'Burnin' Like A Flame' That was my soon to be ex husband's and my theme song as teens when we first started dating. Oh how sickening right?
Ratt...boy they were great. Stephen Pearcy was actually at a local bar about 2 weeks ago singing some of his own stuff and some of Ratt's stuff and the twenty somethings had no clue.
If "The Rolling Stones" can still tour and rock from their wheelchairs then "Dokken" shouldn't have any problems...LOL...I can't even believe Keith Richards is still alive!!!...LMAO
