Hi All from the UK,

Hope everyone is well and staying safe in these very strange times, I’m after some help, my wife works for the Fire Service here in the UK and they are selling some items to raise money for the Brigade Charity, and I’m after some help identifying a couple of US helmets (Photos attached), I’m after as much info as possible really, which stations they came from (I think the black one is from Okaloosa Fire Department) how old they are, the make and model of them and also the value and anything else you can tell me. Many Thanks in advance. Pete

the black one is a cairns helmet usually dated around 1970 to 1980. and is probably past its safety date for fire use. We use some of these for fire police/traffic control because they are a symbol of authority recognized by the public.

the red one Im not sure yet
