On Wednesday, March 21st  I was a structure fire for 7+ hours and afterwards, I noticed a rash on my mid-bicep down to my fingertips. I don't know what happened and was wondering if people can tell me what it is from and how to prevent it.

many things can cause a rash if heat is involved. salt rash from sweating in bunker gear is one of the most prevalent.

keep a bottle of corn starch based baby powder in your locker and apply to your arms before donning your gear

also powder the inside of the sleeves this should help a lot

hope this helps
