nozzle 1.5" for hose 2.5" machino coupling.

Hello Alls Seniors Firefighter, I have a problem, I hope you can give an idea or thought wise.

I want to buy a used nozzle sizes 1.5, hose while I have a size of 2.5". I had the idea to modify it so that it can be installed nozzle coupling (machino) size of 2.5 ".

My concern that, if the water can run smoothly? whether there will not be any problems to the coupling connection, or a problem with the hose due to high water pressure loads due nozzle intended for 1.5 "?

I had to rack my brain because there is no hardware store fire in my place. the store is only available outside of the island and the price is not cheap too expensive plus postage.

Difficult to get a donors, so I had bought with my own money and was only able to buy used/second goods.

in my station just have oldest model tipe nozzle, it's long brass for 60-80cm.

Please give me ideas. Thank You

Hello, Sir. I'am sorry i have bad english. I from Samarinda, East Borneo. In my Station we use 2,5" hose with machino coupling. in have time i give picture for You. I just Volunteer firefighter in chinese foundation. my equipment i buy by my selft. Holy God, i get PPE from friend/my teacher for fire from Netherland. i do not know who he is, but he share me PPE new product made in germany.

now i order just local nozzle in coat Rp 450.000 (1 Rp = USD -/+ 10.000)

very hard to buy equipment in my city and i can buy for budget up to Rp. 1.000.000,-. My parents angry i am firefighter, they worry about safety and i just volunteer not career. My main job is service printing, just home industry.

I have to admit to you Frans I have no idea what machino couplings are. We use NST threaded couplings and Storz couplings.

Sir, many picture in internet about machino coupling. not yet to take picture in my station. i was busy in printing service because near to long holiday in my countries. i promes to share you original from my station/foundation.

May be, machino coupling is come from japanese. because my country have many fire equipment imported from japanese, and the price is more cheap from europe and US prices.
