Personal set of gear?  Do you mean assigned or personally owned turn out gear?  I have 6 sets of assigned turn out gear, and about that many sets of personally owned gear. I have assigned sets of gear from my career FD, 2 POC FDs, and from the tech college where I teach.

In my career turn out pockets I carry a channel lock cable cutter firefighter tool, a 6 way screwdriver, a gerber tool, a diagonal wire cutter, a Fiskars multi-purpose snips, a med scissors, a couple of wedges, and a door strap, a UK 4AA flashlight, and a cheapie LED flashlight.  Hnaging on the front of my coat I have a Streamlight Survivor LED flashlight.  In my bunker pants right pocket I have my personal escape system.  On my GutBelt I have a ppouch with a ViseGrip multi-tool, a SpyderCo folding knife, and a door strap, hanging on my gut belt I have a 20 foot and a 9 foot webbing loop.  On my helmet I have 4 wedges and a UK 4AA flashlight.

On my #1 POC FD in my turnout pockets I carry a 6 inch diagonal wire cutter, a Fiskar snips, a 6 way screw driver, a Bosch multi-tool, and 2 pieces of 20 foot webbing.  On my helmet is a UK 4 AA flashlight and 4 wedges.  Hanging on my coat is a First Responder right angle flashlight.

On my # 2 POC FD in my turnout pockets I carry a 6 inch diagonal wire cutter, a Fiskar snips, 2 wedges and a 20 foot piece of webbing.  On my helmet I have 2 wedges, and soon a UK 4AA flashlight.  Hanging on my coat is a Streamlight Survivor LED flashlight.

Yes I have Personal gear. My pockets are full of everything.

We do not have personal gear. We are not allowed to drive personal vehicles to scenes anyway, so we keep all department-issued gear at the station.

There have been numerous discussions on what's in pockets. One was just in progress days ago. Try the search function and also visit sites like firecritic.com and vententersearch.com to learn more about what folks carry in their gear.

wow you carry alot of stuff. I carry wire cutters, flashlight, and a "storm" safety whistle (loudest in the world) allen key set, door chocks, mini screwdriver, knife & webbing

Yes, I do, but like I said we have buildings in the community I am a career firefighter that are 10 stories or taller and several hundred yards deep.  It makes more sense to me to have those tools available than have to take a 5 to 10 minute walk back to get them.
