My first word of advice is to just write your book and worry about publishing later. Get your story on paper and edited. Then start researching how you want to publish. Traditional publishing, self publishing, etc. Seriously, writing your book is the hardest part of the entire process.As for my books (this is my third, I own a publishing company with my own ISBN numbers so my books are distributed in book stores, books in print, and other channels. However, I did use the Amazon expanded distribution system as well. I'm very familiar with the Amazon Create Space system. For self publishers, I highly recommend viewing a video that I made. Its on my commercial website called www.janmendoza.com It costs 12.00 and it will take you through the entire process of self publishing through create space. Or you can just go on their site, www.createspace.com and look at their tutorials. You can upload your PDF of your book for a print version and/or submit your book to a e-conversion company for Kindle and Nook. Kindle and nook are two different formats and I know of a company that will do both for a couple hundred dollars. Hope this helps. Good luck and get to writing!
