I don't know what things are like where you are from, but i can give you some suggestions based upon what we do. All of our fundraising events are open to the public and we charge based upon a price that covers our costs and makes us a little money per person. Ok.. here goes.. Clam Bake, Beefsteak Dinner, Venison Dinner, Chicken BBQ, Demoliton Derby, Tricky Tray. Also some of our neighboring departments will host a 5k run, a pasta dinner, and Bingo nights. These are just a few suggestions. With a little advertisement and a group of committed firemen, anything is possible. It would just depend on your area and what people are interested in around there.
