Well, I'll ask the obvious question. What type engine or truck do you drive or operate.

Our primary engine is a 1987 GMC 1000gpm pump 1000 gal tank.
I also run a 1972 GMC 1000gpm pump 7tank this truck has a Bean with high pressure.
1979 Ford F-250 with a CET Pump skid unit
Not sure of the actual year but it is a M35A2 mil 6 by 6 1200 tank(used to be a military fuel truck) we just recently installed a gorman rupp pump
Travis Bowers I really like the older engines, but I bet the newer engine is more comfortable to ride and drive. Stay Safe
At work, the first-due engine is a 2009 KME mid-ship 1500 gpm Hale pump with 650 gallons of water and 50 gallons of foam.
Here's the units I drive and operate

I started off operating a 1971 Ford Howe 750/750 until it was replaced by a E-One Hurricane.

Now our Primary Engine is a new 2010 Rosenbauer 5 man commercial cab 1250/1000 top mount with a 300 cummings engine which replaced a 1985 E-one Hurricane 1250/1000

Secondary engine is a 2006 Medtalfab 2 man commercial cab 1250/2500 with a 300 cat engine.

And now are in the process of specing out a Wildland interface truck with a 5 man cab 1250/750 giving us 3 engines or combination of attack engine, tanker and water supply truck.

This is our first responder vehicle to all incedents
