No Sean, I always apply to Captain Kangaroo for new equipment. I figure if I get denied its worth at least a laugh.

Jacob, do your research bud. Your open ended question has little relevance (insert Ted's spell check here) to other people in the context of your question. Are you asking if people have a need for equipment? Foolish question, everyone needs more equipment. Are you asking if anyone applied for a grant? Again foolish question, just about every fire department in America is applying for any and every grant they can.
Can I ask what a "full sized engine" is. Was your last one a 4 cylinder pickup? Are you going for a new Class A Pumper? Pumper/Tanker?
Applying for 15 new air packs is a great thing, I hope your department gets them. Do a little more research and come back to the table with some facts to make this ramble a true story which is easier to comment on.
Don't rush little tidbits of info in your rush to post a lot on the forum.

I hate to point this out, but this will be the second time I have called you on an item on the forum. You need to bring it all to the table, have facts and be willing to support your "opinion" or methods to the masses on FFN. Get used to it, its called the firehouse.

Yes, I mean applying for grants. The reason I said 'full sized engine is because one of my officer buddies at the dept wrote me an email that said 'full sized engine'.I meant asking for grants. I am still really new at this so I'm still not fully there . I'll ask more questions or google the stuff I'm gonna post . LOL!!!! No, it was not a 4 cyl pick up. A 76' engine (I think ) is what we're replacing . I'm not sure though.Sorry guys I've not been clear enough , I'll try harder.
