Once the cylinders can't be hydro- tested any longer what do you do with them?
I know some companies will take them as trades and dispose of them for you, but I have a use that doesn't take alot of time (or money)
We replaced all of our aluminum cylinders last year with carbon fiber, so we had all of these cylinders laying around with some now past thier last hydro and the rest nearing thiers....
What we did was, emptied all of them, and removed the valves. Then we drilled a hole in the center of the bottom and bought the parts needed to make lamps out of them! In turn we sold them to buy gloves for the crew! Attached is a pic of one of them.
