I'm looking for a great...passed down through the generations...this is how my grandma made it, fried chicken recipe.  Anyone have one they would like to share???

Thanks,

Get in your vehicle
Start it up and let it warm to operating temp
proceed to the nearest KFC
order at the drive through
drive back home
get rid of the bucket
pass it off as your own.

Sorry Matt couldn't resist.
:-)
Oh yeah?? U have any good rubs, sauces or marinades u do up from scratch?
It's not passed down through generations, but something my father and I stumbled upon one year during Mardi Gras.

Buy thigh quarters (The 10lb bag) and inject them with a creole butter cajun marinade, one squirt in each the thigh and leg will do. Next batter them in fish fry. (no joke, preferably Zatarains. Had a party one time and they forgot to pick up the chicken fry so we used the fish fry. More crispy skin this way.) Fry them in a turkey pot with peanut oil at 350 degrees for about 20 mins and enjoy.

Depending on the size of your pot/burner, you may be able to fit them all in there. Just don't overfill it.
that sounds awesome. Do you have a recipe for the creole butter cajun marinade or is that something I would find in a store? Thanks for the suggestion.
I'm sure one could make it themselves, I just buy the "Cajun Injector" brand. Should be on the spices, seasoning, sauces aisle at the grocery store.

Can't go past KFC....

Just be careful not to overcook your chicken... It just doesn't taste as good if it gets burned.
