how do you feel about the 2 nozzles? what are the advantages and disadvantages? what one would you choose to be always on the crosslay?

i personaly am torn between the 2 i mean if i roll up on a fire and its only black smoke and i believe it to be a room and contents i prefer a combination nozzle on the basis that i can hydro. vent after knock down i know tha same can be done with a smooth bore by just cracking open the nozzle so to speak but the comby does a better job. now if i roll up on a fire thats pushing brown and black smoke then i know its got a good head start and has a hold on the building structure i would pull a smooth bore for the penitration. iknow some departments run one type of nozzle or both types what is your choice and point of view on this topic...
