So what is the funniest thing you have ever said to dispatch or heard over the radio?
"The roads are slicker than goose snot" (neighboring station, this still has a rolling)
"Standy by for clear code or you can pick one" (my station, I could not find our code book)
So what have you done to make dispatch laugh, shake their heads, and go "Really?"

It's in upper harlem. Take Harlem River Drive north to Dyckman, north on Dyckman to intersection of Broadway, right onto Broadway and then left onto Cumming and you will come to Seaman/Cumming. Get on Seaman and you'll come to Seaman/Dyckman.

Years ago there was a ladies' dress shop called Maggie's Dawers which caught fire. The call came out with the address and Fire In Maggie's Dawers. When units got on the scene radio transmissions were Smoke Coming From Maggie's Dawers. Prepare To Use Forcible Entry To Enter Maggie's Dawers. Use Large Attack Lines On Maggie's Draws.
A lot of the surrounding communications were calling in asking about all the radio traffic about this woman name Maggie.

This wasn't on the radio. But, It did happen.
A few years back on New years Eve. My wife and I had a bunch of family over (We don't drink,. so, no big parties here) My brother had his cell phone fall out of his pocket and onto the couch seat. My niece sat down on the couch and her big butt pushed the redial button. His last call was 911 for a car in the ditch on his way to my house. Well, anyway, they were playing a game (can't think of the name of it right now) where you draw a card and describe it until someone figures out what you are describing.
We all just about came apart when we heard this voice yelling "I know the answer..I know...Can I answer this one.." It was the dispatcher on the cell phone that was stuck listening to all this because of my nieces big butt.

You really should be nice to your niece.... lol.... At least the dispatcher did not make any gurgling, choking, sounds....

LOL... yeah, difficulty breathing call for the dispatcher.
Actually, the phone was one with the exposed key pad. thats why the send button was exposed and after she sat on it and realized it was there she set it on the end table not knowing it had dialed.
I am nice to my niece. But, She still has a Big Butt that dials 911.

I had my cell phone in a cargo pocket on my leg of my pants and was working a rave dance at a convention as a EMT.
It kept dailing my parents and all they heard was techno music. I didn't know until the music was shut down for the night and my cell phone rang and my parents were trying to find out what I was doing.

We had a vehile fire on a small forest service dirt road. when going on sceen the engineer on the first in engine radioed dispatch to give the size up: engine-### at sceen single vehicle smoking with light fire, additionaly no threat to the wildlife. about 30 sec later he corrected himself saying no threat to the wildland. hes been getting flack every car fire or accedent we go on.

My old departments name is "Richmondville" and a nearby city is named "Rensalaerville". One time at a fire in our mutual aid district the chief called for us to the scene, apparently the dispatch was listening to a call in the other city over the radio and came back "10-4 rensalaerville to the scene with manpower and engine......cancel that!!! RICHMONDVILLE to the scene!"
I bet if someone from rensalaerville was listening they dropped a nugget thinking of the response times!!!
Another incident, but over the PA system at work and not radio related. I work for a local supermarket, and one day on the PA the front desk ladies asked something that made me pee my pants. "Back door receiver please call 244, Back door receiver 244" LOL
