Really, in the "Pay for Play" post, you were actually indignant on the use of the word play, citing some half-assed theory that people were being entertained, but here you think you it's okay to seriously state some idiotic, stereotyped image of cars with multiple hispanic passengers (recently crossed the Mexican border ), in fact, 12-15 more people in it than seating capacity All your warm/fuzzy "mom" advice and here you are, being a bigot. No surprise you're "retired" after only 10 years.
Jack, correlation doesn't infer causation, but in this case the results seem appropriate, regardless of causation.

I'm having some difficulty in confirming Heather's prejudices based upon the photo. The average seating in those minivans is 7. There are two of them with an approximate total seating of 14. There are a total of 7 people in the photo, and 6 of them are clearly responders.

And here we were looking for strategy and tactics for how to handle a multi-unstable vehicle MVC...
Doug...don't forget to disable the batteries....engines ready with handlines charged and manned (people with airpacks on and ready, not "on air")
S.A.F.E: Stabilize, Access, Fire control, Extrication!
Has everyone paid their subscription service fee or not - that will help me with my tactical decison.
Ben, my comment was about human trafficking which is a huge problem where I live along a bordering country which smuggles people daily increasing problems at car accidents and the number of anticipated patients. I made no mention of anything prejudical. I removed my comment due to abusive comments made in response to my comment.
LOL FETC that's a good one!I'm the originator of this post and I approve of the content.(don't want to get shut down ya know)
Hey there are fire departments that are now asking for your car insurance card to bill the incident. Many here feel that is out of line as well...
Heather, when you make a racist, off-topic statement in here, expect to get called out for it.

And Heather, when you use a stereotype like the one you did, it is racist, even if you don't see your onw prejudices.

Your previous post used the term "Mexicans". This one uses the term "human trafficking". Your posts equate the two as the same thing. That's a stereotype.

You can make a point about a mass casualty incident by stating something like "Look for large numbers of patients that exceed the numbers of seats in the vehicle." That keeps it tactical, is non-prejudicial, doesn't profile, and isn't racist.
FETC, there are fire departments that have been billing auto insurance companies for MVC response for 20 years or more.

I don't think it's out of line. It simply removes money from the risk pool and applies it to offsetting the costs of running the MVC rather than leaving that money in the insurance company's profit margin.

It's a legit bill, and there area some smart fire departments that take advantage of it.
i did not use the term Mexicans (that was someone elses term) - i used the term coming across the Mexican border - which happens to be the border local to me. I spoke of a land boundary, not a people. I did not say anything about anyones race.

i am not arguing, just clarifying. here we human traffic both ways across the border and it is not isolated to a gender, race, or age

and no the childish abusive name calling towards me is not an appropriate way to present an opposing viewpoint...
Since I didn't address any kind of namecalling toward you, that comment is mis-directed.
