I pretty much like all music - except the kill and rape your mama kind.
For some reason, lately, I really like - Meatloaf, Eminem, Enrique Iglesias, and the genres of Pop/Rock and Rap - but nothing beats a good symphony, any way you sugar coat it.
There are a lot of really good new bands / artists out there lately - which I have not learned all their names yet - like Paramore, Green Day, Dramarama, Carrie Underwood, Adam Lambert, and Kelly Clarkson
Some of my classis standards loves are always - Def Leppard, U2, Toto, The Cars, Genesis, Chicago, Boston, etc.
I don't even listen to country anymore. It all sounds the same to me.Now Hank Jr.,Willie, Waylon,Charlie Daniels, thats a whole 'nother ball of wax.THAT'S COUNTRY.
I have the first album on CD and it has 4 or 5 extra tracks on it that the original didn't.Susie Q live at from the Fillmore is just the cats behind.THAT'S MUSIC!!!
I listen to absolutely everything. and I mean everything. It is not abnormal for me to put S&G on the same cd as Slayer, and maybe even a little Pink too. As long as there is real music involved and there is thought and real skill behind it all.
I have, not long ago, been introduced to a band called "Symphony X", kind of a blend of instrumental metal and...well....symphony type additions. Kind of interesting. Also digging Crystal Bowersox from Idol. She has a special groove in her her tones.
Right now, at this moment, I am listening to Black Sabbath--"Zero the Hero" along with the rest of the cd.
Would also like to agree that CCR is always a good listen.
,
I like Rock songs, anywhere from old rock to new rock, Sabbath to Shinedown
I like old country, this new stuff just doesnt do it for me
CCR will always be my favorite. Me and my fiance listen to their band all the time.
