I have a problem with migraines flaring up.I see a couple Dr.'s for this but it still causes problems.Anybody else have migraine problems?I'm looking for something to try to at least make them not quite so bad.
I have done a lot of tests myself every time I start when the migraine start with the signs and symptoms. I even stop the banana eating chocolate eating no citrus etc.
The migraine still visit me. I come to the conclusion it is stress. If I can not get rid of my frustrations it build up and come to outburst as a migraine. I grow up in the Fire rescue and paramedic area where you had to perform if you want to get to the top. After 1992 I was born again and my life change. I try not to be rude to people under me and end up with a lot of frustrations.
The only way to keep the veins open to my brain is by skydiving and found hobbies where I can release a lot of adrenaline in my body.
It work for me after two freak incidents with skydiving and I decided to stop, the migraines is visiting me again.
I try not to use any medicine as the results is reducing your life time on earth. Currently I use herbs and make my own herbal tea with honey. I am eating what I want and control the migraine by getting rid of the build frustration without using the "F" word it is working but it is a daily exercise to prevent another attack.
It will sound like a cowboy story but it work for me.
LOL
I did not call you a mass casualty incident
I did not tell you to call in mutual aid
but you should call in a few specialists (like the bomb squad or hazmat team or deep water rescue ;-)
Even though all their blood work is within normal limits - before supplements
My one friend takes a potassium supplement every day
2nd friend takes B6& B12
3rd friend takes Vitamin E and C and Calcium and Magnesium
4th friend takes iron
all have worse migraines without them
I think out U.S. health care system lacks knowledge of the vitamin and mineral needs of the human body - so the doctors guess a lot - and the patients must experiment alot. I say find what works... for you...
YOU ARE THE EXPERT ON YOU - NO ONE ELSE WILL EVER BE ABLE TO KEEP UP - OR CATCH UP !!!
I remember many times (5,000 +/- 1000 times) being so sick I would have cut my own head off if I could just manage breathing sufficiently enough to manage the task.
hey - cold, dark, and quiet are nice support options to manage the symptoms - I found those giant walk-in coolers or walk-in freezers are nice... if you have one of those nearby (restaurants, florist, morgue - whatever works)
