Three Killed in Van Buren County Medical Helicopter Crash (Air Evac 30)

Three people onboard a Air Evac medical helicopter have died this morning when the chopper crashed in Van Buren County.

Arkansas State Police confirm they are working the crash scene in Scotland, which is near Clinton.

The chopper went down shortly before four o'clock this morning in the vicinity of 6831 Highway 95, west.

Van Buren County Sheriff's Deputies are on the scene, along with Arkansas State Troopers.

The FAA has been notified and will be directing the crash investigation.

Initial reports indicate the crew was based in Vilonia (Air Evac 30) and was dispatched to Alread to pick-up a patient..
