Bossier Parish Fire District One has all Ferrara apparatuses. We have 7 stations with 3 tankers, 7 engines and 1 Heavy Rescue. Our primary engine is over 10 years old as is our Heavy Rescue. They both still run great. We probably won't replace for another few years.
My fire department, Milton Engine Co. No. 1 (Milton Ulster County, New York) has a 2009 FERRARA INFERNO with a Cummins ISM Diesel Engine rated at 500 hp coupled to an Allison 400 EVS transmission. The truck has a 2000 gpm Waterous CSU pump, and carries 1,000 gals. of water. Other unique features of this truck are, a Harrison 10 kw generator, Zico electric ladder rack, and a Roto Ray LED light in front of the cab. See more at our website www.miltonengine.com
