U.S. Fire Administration

The U.S. Fire Administration has announced the official line of duty death of Firefighter David Sullivan, 70 of the Otis Fire Department on July 25, 2010.

Firefighter Sullivan worked at the scene of a structure fire on July 24th at approximately 1500hrs, clearing the scene and returning home several hours later. The following day near his home, Sullivan complained to others that he was not feeling well and retired to his residence where he was later discovered having passed away from a cause still to be determined.
