Who makes the best Firetruck (engine,ladder,tanker,etc...)
Afriend of mine posted a pic of a tee-shirt on his facebook today and it reads I WOULD RATHER MISS THE CALL THEN RIDE THE E-ONE it is causing a little ego war so I want to see what the sensuous is out there.( I personally am a MACK girl)my hubby likes anything with wowo lights and a siren

SEAGRAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!! E-one is junk, Pierce is ok, I do like an old style Mack, or American La france, but other than that Im not a fan.

Scot. Never even heard of them until my dept. bought a '76 Scot with a Seagrave body for a parade vehicle/spare rig. Made in Nova Scotia back in the day. Works like a charm and has a good ol' Screamin' Detroit in the engine compartment.

It all depends. For trucks American laFrance. For engines, Pierce--Later Arrow XT's and the Early 2000's Dashes.
2001 and 2004 AmericanLaFrace 100ft trucks ^^^^
2008 Arrow XT ^^^^^^
2002 Dash (cameras year is wrong. it should be 2006) ^^^^^^
I like different things about the following, but if i HAD to choose one it would be the Pierce Dash for Engine, AmericanLafrace for Truck.
2002 Pierce Dash: Love the body construction and a Great Work Horse (never heard of Any problems with it)
2001 American Lafrance 100ft Ariel: Large Cab Room, Great Handeling, and a Work Horse (never had a problem with it in the 5 years i have been at the station)
2006 Pierce Arrow XT: Great body construction, a Great Work Horse, and its Big so everyone can see it! (but easily sercomes to mechanical Problems)
