Brilliant idea......NOT

As if gaining access to a "vacant" building isn't difficult enough.  Let's make it a death trap now.

Reminds me of a six-story government building in downtown Fort Worth, Texas, that has a facade made entirely of shaped and spray-painted styrofoam. The idea is to make it look like something fancy that it is not. Can you spell F-I-R-E-L-O-A-D?

These remind of a fire safety audit I did years ago on a bar- all the wall beams, door frames, etc looked like these huge big aged timber components, beams, etc. That is, till you touched them and realised they were foam as well. Scary to think of the consequences of a few drunken idiots mucking around and lighting them up.....
No one thinks of fire safety when it comes to building stuff like firefighters do. We should start our own biz. They'd be the safest damn buildings ever.
Nah. No decisions would be made- we couldn't agree on what to do and how to do it... ;-)
You'd think history would teach what happens when cheap exceeds the fire code
The scary thing is that someone had to sign off on these fire code death traps!
The thing is those who design and eventually obtain the permits don't think of the fire service when they come up with these not thought out ideas. They only see $$$.
