Hello fellow firefighters
dosent gear have to be nfpa1971 marked?
Hello fellow firefighters. (sorry about the prior post) I am an instructor at a Career & Technology HS. We have some gear that is ten yrs old and must be taken out of service. I would love to donate it to any US FD but we were told that since NFPA does not allow this gear to be used we assume liablility issues. If anyone knows how to avoid the liablity, we can talk. Also, anyone outside of the US that is in need is welcome to apply. Email me at COZY439@comcast.net . What we have is Morning Pride coats and pants that are 10 yrs old with limited wear. Also, the picture on my post is not me ( I have had this question before) it is of a former student/current Navy Seal wearing my station's hat while on a mission) Feel free to email me for more info and answers to Questions.
If possible contact me directly to my e-mail echavarriajose@yahoo.com hopefully you can help some of our fellow members back in the Dominican Republic with the equipment you have available. Thank you and GOd Bless you
please contact me the liability issue is not a problem I will send the equipment myself from NYC to the Dominican Republic I can promise you that these group will use and are in need of such items. echavarriajose@yahoo.com
