people that are volteer what do yall think about shifts at yalls stations

No afence to paid guys by no means.im thinking about becoming paid myself..the reason i said volteer is because yall already have shifts.lol. our cheif aint sure about doing this. i was just wondering what yall thought about it..most of the guys at our station think its a good idea..i figured i would put it on here and see what yall thought about it..Thanks for reading it...have a blessed day and be safe...

Hey Bill, Shifts mean that there is more coverage and that you are providing a better service with shorter response times verses waiting for folks to show up at the station. If you can afford this, you only stand to be in a better position to help someone should they need it. That's why we are there in the first place.

If you are thinking about getting on to a paid department...you had better drastically improve your spelling and grammar.

You can get mad at this comment...then fail.

Or...you can improve your spelling and grammar, and stand a chance.
