Radio straps
I was just wondering, what some thoughts are on radio straps.. Do you like em, hate em, wear em dont wear em.... just what ever you want to say about them. I personally, love them, and wear one.. but i have heard mixed emotions on them.. so let me know. thanks

i agree.. i have a boston leather strap and case as well... only one, tho.. for my motorola GP380, but i also agree they should be used out, not inside.

A couple of things. Around the station they work well until a call comes in. If worn under the running coat it is almost impossible to change the volume or channel selector. In our area you are dispatched on one channel and work the incident on another. If worn on the outside of the running coat it becomes a tangle hazard. I don't like having anything hanging on the outside of my coat. In the summer it works well on EMS calls and other calls where you don't wear gear but on everything else I leave it in the cab.
