This is a bit extreme, don't you think? I just thought that with the past few days of posting roof ops and vent posts that this was appropriate.

I am sure that nobody reading this blog post would ever allow this to happen. But, apparently, it does happen somewhere.

I don't know if this is a volunteer that just showed up or the homeowner.

Does it really matter?

Anyway, I thought you might all enjoy this.

Stay safe and take care.

I hope to god that he is the only one there and his gear is on the truck and there is someone trapped on the other side of that wall. Doesn't explain where he got the tool though, maybe he had it in his pov.
That IS quite the sag isn't it.
He's using the sagging roof straddle. That's taught in the "You don't need no stinkin PPE course" along with "Grap an axe and go".
Yep, judging from the pick-head axe and the radio on his left hip, I'm thinking a misguided vollie. And I may be mistaken, but i believe he is trying to dislodge the AC unit from the window to his left front. Possibly a trapped victim?

No matter, what we have here is a LODD just waiting to happen...
This a the recruiting poster for the farmer john volunteer fire Company and Circus troupe. Gives all volunteers a bad name.
