Your favorite apparatus in your department?

At our weekly work detail last night, I had to help another firefighter figure out how to put in our SCBA's in the jump seats in the new rescue. I hadn't done it myself, but as I stepped out of the truck, I proclaimed "Yep, in 18 years and 6 truck purchases, this is by far my favorite"

It's a new rescue that replaced a worn and torn late 70's utility van.

Our Snorkel had an open cab. It seemed easier to position just being able to look up!

its our new HME Custom Rescue Pumper. This truck can handle almost anything. Its my favorite truck.

its THE best engine i have ever ridden on, and preety much the only engine i have ever ridden on.
Altho, our station may be getting a brand new arieal ladder truck later in the year, so i might have a new favotie apparatus by december!!!
but for now, this is the best and my favorite apparatus in the whole dept.

It's my favorite because it was my first. And NO I wasn't assigned active duty to this truck. I was a 4y/o when one of Dad's friend's pulled up in front of the house with this already retire rig. It is my earliest childhood memory.
