What is the Oldest Fire Apparatus You Have In Service In Your Department?

In the department I belong, we have a 29 year old American LaFrance Ladder Truck. You would never know that by looking at it, and it is still in great machanical shape as well.

Hey Scott, Thanks for responding to the discussion.
Would by chance have any pictures of your '82 Ford ??
I have to agree with you on the care, and maintenance on
the truck. As long as it's maintaned it should last for ever.
Thanks again, and be safe out there Brother.
Hey Jacob, Thanks for responding to the discussion, and
for sharing the pictures with us. I can't get over the 1800 feet
of hose on the reel. I have to say, I have never seen that before.
That sure bet's having to hand pack it back into the bed.
Thanks again, and stay safe out there Brother.
Hey Don, Thanks for responding to the discussion.
Sounds like a great truck, do you have any pictures of it ??
36 years of service, that great. Most trucks that age have already
been retired. Hope to hear back from you with some pictures of it.
Until then, stay safe Brother.
Hey Shane, Thanks for responding to the discussion.

Hey Jeremy, Thanks for responding to the discussion.
I have to say, you do have three better then most departments.
That's something that your newest truck is 31 years old. I will go to
the web site to check them out. Again, thanks, and stay safe Brother.
I tell ya what....It is 10X faster than rolling 50 ft of hose on the bed....I LOVE IT!!!! I actually just trained on using it yesterday..
Stay Safe

1975 Chevy pickup as our brush truck
78 International 1000/800 for about another 6-8 weeks. Once the Tower goes in service we will retire the '78.

we have a 1983 osh kosh P-19 crash truck, and it is in rough condition mechanically. it's on emergency use only.
Hey Tim, Thanks for responding to the discussion.
You just can't beat those old Chevy Pickup's. Do you have
a picture that you can share ?? Thanks again, and stay safe
out there Brother.
