I think we've heard everything from BLUE?? to, real fire trucks are red!! I usually say, Do your history on fire trucks! The first one was blue, ask Ben Franklin!!
When the departments around us with red trucks start on us, we just tell 'em that they're jealous because the fire's not afraid of their red trucks. But when the yellow trucks show up, the fire goes out!
LOL that's good, Lee. We always tell them to take history lesson about the first fire truck. Ben Franklin built the first one, and painted it blue to symbalize water. (true story) Plus we just think they look sharp, and everyone knows when Hydetown shows up on scene.
Yea, but yours show up better than theirs! Nothing wrong with yellow. Around here, everyone calls the yellow trucks, Penn Dot trucks. I've heard guys say,"they all jump out with shovels, and stop signs". Of course, they have a sence of humor about it. Just fun you know. Stay safe brother.
