As my profile will tell you I am a captain in Sunbury Vol. Fire Department. With any volunteer department we are very limited on state and county funds and sometimes more than none uneligible for federal grants which is the case for most of the seven finalist in the contest. Our neighboring county of Bertie has one of the seven in it known as the town of Powellsville.Like the other six I fill like they are very deserving of the apparatus. although I would like for you to vote for them I can not ask you to do that, Instead read the essays at the link below and use your best judgement because all are deserving agencys in our brotherhood.
