I saw that MD-TF1and TX-TF1and 2 were gearing up for Dean. Here's a link to the Texas response.

One of the things I admire about Texas' program is their flexibility between the water and US&R side. If it's going to be done right, they do a good job of doing it that way.

Sorry, here's the Maryland news link too.
FEMA actually activated 6 task forces (2 type I and 4 type II) I don't have the list in front of me, but I'll post it when I get home tonight if someone dosen't beat me to it. In addition TXTF-1 is activated as a state resource.
Yeah, I didn't get any information, which you think as the state director of US&R, that might come in handy; I actually got the prompt from another e-group. It's pretty bad when even the US&R community can't get timely information on what is going on. But then, that's why we formed SUSAR.

Let me know when you get a chance so I can at least say I know who got sent. Thanks.
Hi again folks

The following USAR assets have been activated:
TXTF-1 (Austin/Travis Co.) State Resource
TNTF-1 (Memphis/Shelby Co.) Type I
NETF-1 (Lincoln) Type I
MOTF-1 (Boone Co.) Type III
MDTF-1 (Montgomery Co.) Type III
UTTF-1 (Salt Lake City) Type III
CATF-6 (Riverside) TYPE III
IST "WHITE"

All teams were expected to be in place by tonight. Thats all I have for now. I'll post anything else I get.
