To those watching...Whether you voted for or support our current President or not, you have to ask yourself a question:

"When will they take over the fire department?"...

or police department, or public works,or education, or nursing or sanitation, or any of the unions.......
Kinda makes one wonder...doesnt it?

They have to THINK too much.
The current generation dose not want to think or reason... reason get it.....;) their way through an issue. They don't like conflict or the fact that others may not agree with your position. They just don't get that we can disagree and still get along and work togeather.
It drives me nuts at the fire house kitchen table with the newer guys. If it's not an instant resolution they walk a way.
Thanks to TV, Video games and the failing US educational system.
Ask anyone under age 30 what the constitution says, I'm not tak[lking word for word just the general concept and you will be horrified by the amount of blank stares you get.

It's like watching Jay Leno's Jaywalking bit. It would be funny if it was not such a sad condemnation of the education our kids actually get at school and home.

AMEN Scott! I had a rookie tell me the other day that the Constitution was written July 4 1776 and that it said you could do whatever you wanted as long as you were nice about it........HUH????

Who will be next? Until we as individuals, organizations and a country stand up and say NO MORE to the over-regulated, socialistic, welfare state that we are becoming life will get worse. Whatever happened to the common sense approach? Where are the family values, the respect for Country, flag, family, elders and ourselves? Our grandparents suffered throught the most difficult times in American history, first the Great Depression and then WWII and they persevered, thrived, helped one another without expecting to be rewarded or receive anything in return. Why cannot we emulate those values, ideals and traditions? We need to stop being a nation of "what do I get out of this, how can I get someone else to take care of me?". Get our collective self off the couch, work for the things you want, don't expect your neighbor to provide for you, if you need a hand be prepared to give a hand, educate your children in values, morals and human decency. Tell government that we do NOT need them to regulate common sense. Show the politicians and their lackeys that we do not need to be told how to think or act by VOTING, it is not only a right but a responsibility!
Think for yourself, it is your responsibility to use the brain that you have, not allow others to tell you how to think.
Teach your children history, do not allow the schools with their sterilized textbooks to propagate a fictionalized version of our past. Knowledge and understanding of the past influence the future!
Stand up, say no with your vote, with your actions, by being silent you are implying consent to the ObamaNation and all its thousands of blind, mindless, "I'm going to get my free house, car, plasma TV, etc." robots.
