Hi Sarah, I am not from Colorado but I am also moving there in the Spring and have done a lot of research on Fire Disiricts there. I have mainly looked more towards Denver but I found this place that's fairly close to Colorado Springs: http://www.tri-lakesfire.com/

I just left the area in October 08, there are many good districts in the Colorado Springs area, Check out Manitou Springs, Black Forest and to the south of town check into the City of Fountain, I was a member at Fountain at one time, there are some good people on it and I know people on the others I mentioned adn on others in the area. all I can say is this watch your back as with any area there are people who have nothing but their own agenda and will do what ever and destroy whoever to get it. I'm proof. also if looking north definatly look at Larkspur and Castle Rock there are some great people there too.
